Join Us for Soup & Stations of the Cross

As we journey through Lent, we invite you to walk the way of the Cross with Jesus in a special and meaningful way. Each Friday during Lent, our parish will gather for Soup & Stations of the Cross, an evening of fellowship, prayer, and reflection.

This year, we will be praying "Mary’s Way of the Cross" by Richard Furey. Through this powerful devotion, we will reflect on the Passion of Christ through the eyes of His mother, Mary. Each week, we will journey through three Stations of the Cross, guided by reflections from one of our lay presenters.

We will begin the evening with a simple soup dinner, an opportunity to share in fellowship and community. If you are able, we invite you to bring a crockpot of meatless soup to share. This is a wonderful way to come together as a parish family and prepare our hearts for prayer. If you cannot join us for soup, you are welcome to come at 6:00 PM for Stations of the Cross.

Following dinner, we will move into the church for Stations of the Cross at 6:00 PM.

Additionally, we are hosting a food drive for the St. Francis Food Pantry. Each week, we encourage everyone to bring donations based on the following list:

  • March 7 - Week 1: Peanut Butter & Jelly and Soup

  • March 14 - Week 2: Canned Vegetables, Any Type of Snacks for Kids, Soup

  • March 21 - Week 3: Mac & Cheese, Cereal, and Oatmeal

  • March 28 - Week 4: Soap & Shampoo

  • April 5 - Week 5: Knorr Pasta Sides, Scalloped Potatoes, and Mashed Potatoes Mix

We hope you will join us in this Lenten tradition as we deepen our faith and strengthen our bond with Christ through prayer, reflection, and community.
