MUSIC MINISTRY
Welcome to the Music Ministry at
St. Francis of Assisi Parish
The Music Ministry is an important part of the worship life of St. Francis Parish. We lead the congregation with spiritually uplifting music which incorporates a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles. Our goal is to inspire and engage all people in full and active participation during the liturgy. There is a place for anyone interested in serving as a music minister.
The St. Francis Music Ministry is composed of:
Adult Choir
Youth Choir
Cantors
Organists/ Pianists
Instrumentalists
ADULT CHOIR
The Adult Choir provides music for some of the major feasts and celebrations of the church year including Easter Vigil, Christmas Eve and Holy Thursday. They enhance our weekend liturgy one Sunday a month during choir season.
No audition required, just a love for music and willingness to serve.
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir gathers in fun as they learn how singing is another way to pray. They sing at feasts and celebrations such as Christmas Eve Family Mass, Holy Thursday and Easter Sunday. Children from second grade and older are able to join.
Our Teen/Young Adult members join the Youth Choir for special feasts and celebrations. They also join the Adult Choir several times a year.
No Audition required! All are welcome!
